Football Pudding
Submitted by Julie S., Fairbanks, AK
Serves 1
Ingredients:
- Instant Pudding
- Powdered Milk
- Ziploc Bags
At Home:
You decide serving size. Just add the proper ratio of powdered milk and pudding mix. In each bag separate the right amounts of pudding mix and powdered milk. Large or small servings are easy here. Write on the bag how much water to add if your party has different size servings.
On the Trail:
Add the water written on the bag. Seal tight. Play football for a while until mixed well, then a minute or two more. Snip off a corner of the bag and suck dry.
Additional Comments or Suggestions:
This is great for kid's birthday parties! Very little clean up.
Chef Glenn's Comments:
Julie's idea of making pudding in a bag is a great idea. In my experiments with pudding, I have found that mixing up the milk first and then combining with the pudding mix works well. Kraft used to sell pudding mix in a "singles" package, but I have not found them lately. For a single serving, mix 2 tbsp powdered milk with ½ cup cold water and then mix with 2 tbsp instant pudding mix. It only takes five minutes for the pudding to set. See Dessert Recipes
for more pudding ideas.
